Does anyone have problems with Dish DVR recording programs by itself or deleting recorded programs by itself?

If it's like my Tivo, it's set up to automatically tape shows that are like the shows you ask it to record.  You'll have to set it to not do that.  It will also automatically delete when you run out of space.  You may have to check your "quality" that you record at.  If you record everything in high quality you'll run out of room really quickly and then lose shows as you presently are doing.
