Does anyone have problems with tracking numbers on UPS?

I have a tracking number that is for UPS and I ordered the item like 2 days ago (wednesday) and it supposebly shipped yesterday cause I got the tracking number. But on the UPS website I put in my tracking number and it says

"

>>> UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later.

"

Usually after a few hours it would show the tracking information but after a 36 hours after I got the tracking number it still does not show the tracking information.

Is anyone else having issues with UPS's tracking system or is it that my item really has not shipped yet.

  1. It could just mean that UPS hasn't updated the item information yet. It does that for me too when I order online. Just give it 24-48 hours and if it's not up still, contact the place from which you purchased.


  2. It  means  the  information  has  not  been  refreshed  or  updated  on the  ups  system.  It  could  also mean  that   the  person sending the  item  printed  an online  label  as  they have a  personal  ups  account..  but  the  ups  store  or  carrier  has  not  received  it  it.

      Youll  probably be able to   check the  item  progress  in  some  time..  If  not , then  contact  the  person  shipping  it.

      Ups  insures  all  items  upto  $100  so  youre  covered.
