Question:

Does anyone have recommendations for buying tea at good prices?

I'm interested in green tea and some of the flavored herbal teas. I would also be interested in recipes with other teas or juices--whatever.

Right now I use green tea bags from Costco and flavored herbals by Celestial Seasons, Bigelow and Stash. (Mostly fruit flavored.) I have never used loose tea but, if the prices are good I'll learn to. It's helping me sleep better, symptoms not as bad pre-menstrual and during my period too. I have heard lots of great things about green tea and it's a great replacement for sodas. My skin looks great too!

Thanks for any info!!!!

Ciao!

  1. What i do is try tea at restaurants, P.F. Changs has great tea! I simply asked the waiter if i could purchase a few bags, if you get a generous waiter or talk with the manager they usually give you a great price (considering they get it wholesale for pretty cheap!)

Its high quality, and delicious :)

Green tea is a great sub btw, its been proven to help supress hunger :)

World Market also has great teas from places globally, but some can be expensive, and you cannot try them

  2. That is so great...green tea has such amazing antioxidant powers and is so good for you.

Loose leaf teas are the way to go because you can decide how much you want and they are usually better quality. Actually there is this brand called Mighty Leaf  (www.mightyleaf.com) that makes really nice tropical green tea (in a silk tea bag). That is one of my favorites and actually makes a really nice green tea.

This site shows a few sections of a green tea book with a few different green tea recipes:

I don't know if you have ever tried rooibos or red tea but that is also really good for you and tastey (vanilla is great) and is naturally decafinated:

  4. I love Jonas Brothers!

  5. I know where I live (Georgia) there's a place call The World Market and there's several locations and they have a lot of selections of teas and great prices.
