Yes, Skype is an excellent program to voice and video chat free and is very simple to use..  I like using it to search for people by names and emails!;)

Yes its good and easy to use...txt msg cost about 5p...SKYPE-OUT to landlines abroad cost 1.5 ppm....if both parties have SKYPE-IN , INT.calls are free,but then both have to pay bout £10-15 per year subscription......check SKYPE website for all the data and charges

Yes it's good because all your calls are free whatever time of day and night whereas a BT package might not give you all those options, but the people you are calling through your computer do have to have skype also otherwise you pay.

It is a very easy product to use.  It helps you connect with people around the world free.  But the quality is sometimes not too good... breaky at times.

It is great. You can download it for free and either need a headset or a webcam with a mic in it (what I use). I can't believe I ever lived without it. Free skype to skype calls and a clear line.

yes my wife uses it to chat to her mum from the uk and brasil, it's free and she uses the audio and web cam part of it, you can also put credits onto a skype account allowing you to call home and mobile phones at a fraction of the usual call cost, on the whole it's very good

I had Skype for a while and found it very easy to use, the only issue i would have is that it leaves your name available for everybody to see. I prefer MSN as somebody needs to know your email before they can add you as a friend. However Skype has the ability to call landlines which MSN can't, but you need to pay for this service as an extra.

yes good too if you have contacts you phone regularly , haven't used it for a while but it used to be free , just get a microphone and download it tell your friend to download it and set it up easy , i love the the test call voice on skype " hello and welcome to Skype ,this is skype voice testing "
