I just had my 3rd child 2months ago. I don't want any more...thinking about the "big operation". I heard that the recovery is very painful.

If your talking about having your tubes tied, it is no big deal at all. I had it done about a year ago along with removal of endometriosis and I was down for that day then back to my usual routine (I'm a stay at home mom).
