  1. ebay or craigslist is probably your best bet

  2. http://www.icehousesports.com/services.h...

    they have over 300.

also, did you ask anyone at your rink?

someone is bound to have used skates.

if you know you are going to keep skating for a while, then i would buy new ones. they would last longer and you can get a pair for under $150

  3. Yess I have a pair. They are good beginner/recreational skates I used them for my beginner levels. Women's size 6 and $25. They were $50 when I bought them.

  4. Nice try. Rinks often hold skate giveaways from skaters who give away their old skates. There's always a bulletin at my rink with nearly new skates being sold cheap. Check out that. Otherwise, I guess you'll have to pay the price.

  5. i would go to ebay.com and search used figure skates and then look for a reasonable price

  6. Yes, I have a pair lying around. They're still quite good, actually. A few scratches, but neverthless it's still presentable. It's a size 6    and for womens. Riedell, Bronze Medallion. Normal blade. I bought them for $360 or Php 16,000. But I'm afraid it would be too far. I'm in the Philippines. Anyway, if you happen to come across anyone near me and needs a pair of skates, please email me. Why don't you try looking around in you rink's skate shop? Bound to have a used pair there, or ask them to notify you if they come hear someone selling their old skates. Also try looking around in garage sales, thrift shops, junk shops and check ebay regularly. I hope you find a good pair and begin to expercience the real joy in skating! Good luck! :D

  7. What size, width, brand are you looking for?  Need just boots or blades too?  What is your skating ability level?  Need men's or women's skates?  New or used?  :)

  8. Then ebay is your best bet.
