I need some tips for passing, setting, hitting, overhand serving, and anything else you can think of... Also I need some ideas about the "little things" that I can keep in mind (like touching the ground after every pass or set you make).

  1. passing - keep your wrists together to maintain a flat passing platform.

    - use the power in your legs to lift the ball, rather than swinging your arms

    - touch the ground before a serve, this way you're low enough

    - never stand on your heels

    - never put your hands on your knees

setting - set straight, like superman.

    - never drop your hands

    - start with your thumbs facing towards your eyes, and push straight out, until your arms are facing at roughly a 45 degree angle, and your hands are flat.

hitting - practice your approach by yourself

    - say the approach steps in your head

    - remember to keep the ball infront of you

    - keep your arm reaching high

    - snap your wrist

    - jump up, not out

overhand serving - dont overcomplicate it

    - lift your arm, toss the ball, and strike.

    - take as little steps as possible

    - dont cross your body when you swing

    - keep the ball infront of you

    - dont change things up too often.

diving - slide on your stomach

    - dont slide on your knees

    - pass, then slide

blocking - be balanced before you jump

    - keep your arms up until your feet land on the ground

  2. well i think the best thing you might want to do is practicing bumping. if you want to learn how to hit over hand well go to a wall and hit the ball and if it comes right back to you then you hit the ball right.

  3. passing- keep your hands together, arms straight, bend your knees, feet shoulder length aprt, and tep into your pass.DON'T SWING YOUR ARMS

setting- keep yuor hands right above your 4head and do not slap the ball flick your wrist and work on controlling the ball

serving- work on your upper body strength and make sure you have a good toss

  4. concentrate keep your hand and arms steady and touch the ground b-4 every play so you r low enough
