Does anyone have some good workouts for either Wide Receiver or Quarterback, in American Football?

  1. lots of running and sprinting. plyometrics especially. just practice catching throwing. core workouts with medicine balls. weightlifting.


  2. Most of the great football players like quarter backs find that medicine ball workouts work wonders when you are preparing for the season. For example take a medicine ball and go into a full squat position. hold the ball like you are going to throw it up wards. Then explode out of your squatting position using a lot of leg power and throw the ball up as high as you can. For an excellent work out run to catch the medicine ball and then immediately repeat the exercise. 8 to 10 reps for 3 sets is what i would recommend.
