  1. put it on easy

  2. Make a move that has not been programed in.

  3. I have to ask what you are talking about when you mean "computer".  If you are talk the top of the line super chess computers, I hate to be frank, but it ain't gonna happen and nothing anyone can say here will help you beat it.  We are talking computers that beat and draw Grandmasters.

Now, if you are saying you have a chess master program and want to beat the lowest levels, there I can assist.  First, you say i need strategy because I am bad at tactics.  You need to get that out of you head, because you really can't have one with out the other.  They weave together forming a tapestry and can not be pulled  apart with out the entire work coming to pieces.

You have two options, if you are a casual player and really just want to stay that way.  I would recommend challenging the lowest Level , even if it is like a 90 rating or worse.  And play it, once you win, move up to the next Level.  If you lose, replay and replay.  You may not believe it, but just constant playing *will* help you a lot.

If you are trying to get serious, I would recommend a series of books called "Winning chess" by Yasser Seirwan.  He is an American grandmaster with a rare talent to explain to player who may not understand everything like a grandmaster.  He has helped improve the playing of countless people including myself.

    Good luck as always

  4. Ummm... have it on easy mode

    undo moves

    use cheats

  5. Start at an easier level until you are more familiar with developing strategies and tricks.  The more you play, the better you'll get!
