  1. It is isn't just Bush. For some reason, we Americans think that we're the only country struggling with gas prices. Other industrialized nations like Germany and Britain pay almost twice what we are paying.

  2. Hi Luis

gas prices were around $1.40./gallon when Bush stole the first election in 2000.

since he stole the second election in 2004, the cost of a barrel of oil has gone from $20 to $145 or whatever it is now.

i am sure that Bush had nothing to do with any of this... right!

  3. not as much as the no do Democratic Congress who promised

change - and the only thing they have accomplished is

getting the Congressional Approval rating into single digits

for the first time since the poll was established

    (i.e. it's only 9 % now)

    ************

we're going to change how people give money to Congress

    (yep - they charged more)

    on your question

today America spends FOUR times on oil

what we are shelling out for the Iraqi war

but Congress will not let us drill in the US

even though reserves exceed what the middle east has

because- the environmentalists have got the Dems ears

    good question

  4. Don't have the sources but as for Bush, depends on the cause: Low Dollar (Bush), Speculation (Wall Street), Supply and Demand (Saudis / China / India).

From the Dept of Energy here is some info on gas prices going back to 1990.
