Does anyone have the 1-800 number to call the Economic Stimulus line?

I have the 1-888 number that comes on those papers that says how much you will receive (my fiance got one) but that only gets me an automated response system. I have moved since I filed my taxes and when I read up on my Economic Stimulus check on www.irs.gov it said if filed my change of address through the post office (which I did) it should still got through. There was another form that I could have filed, but I would have had to have done that months ago for it to have taken affect for me to receive my check. Now I have waited three weeks since my check was to be payed out and everyone else that fell into my classification has received theirs, and I am still without my check. I have heard a few people say something about a 1-800 number they called and spoke to a representative who changed it in the computer and it got to them. I haven't even received the notice about how much I will receive or when I should receive it. If you have this # I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

just call your local IRS office they would have that info 4 u

Did you check the IRS Stimulus Calculator (have your copy of your return) on all info is input it will give you the amount you qualify for and the date to expect the rebate.

Call IRS at 1-800-829-1954 and change your address or try calling the Balance Due department at 1-800-829-0922.

1-800-829-1040 is the number you are suppose to call for address change but getting thru is a nightmare usually you are hold for an hour.

FYI: are you in full compliance with the IRS such as filing all your tax returns from 2002 thru 2006; because if you haven't file one year IRS will hold the stimulus.

Or visit you local IRS office to change your address.
