  1. In 1996, October 10, Norwich State Psychiatric Hospital closed, patients transferred to Connecticut Valley Hospital.

    The best idea if you want to sneak into the old supposedly haunted old State Hospital is to park at "Thamesview Apartments"-(Located DIRECTLY behind the LAUREL HILL FIRE DEPARTMENT).
