Does anyone have the canon powershot SD890 SI camera ??

Okay well i was wondering if it was possible to take a picture of someone with them being super clear & the background being blurry.

i checked the book but i didn't understand & it mixed me all up.

  1. This is generally done with a very large aperture (small f-stop number).

    According to dpreview.com, there's no aperture priority setting on that camera, making the idea of setting your own aperture to be right out the window.  If it has a portrait mode (usually looks like a face in profile or something), try that.
