I went to high school with a Julie Ketchum in San Antonio, TX and Hank Ketchum was the cartoonist who did Dennis the Menace. Google it.

My aunts maiden name is Ketchum and she was born and raised in West Michigan. My cousin has her tree back to Nathaniel Ketchum born about 1830 of Waterloo, Co. Ontario, Canada. and his wife Lucretia Fordham.   Their children were Wires James Ketchum b 1852 in Canada, George Ketchum b. 1853 in New York,  Mary Jane Ketchum born 1855 in Canada and  Jesse Ketchum born 1857 in Canada.  If you think you might connect to this family, I can put you in touch with her daughter who has done some extensive genealogy on the Ketchums.  Good luck.

My cousin Mark is married to Julie Ketchum and they are from CT but I think her family is originally from Ohio.

This was in Hometown, Illinois (a suburb across the street from the southwest corner of Chicago).
