I think my ascendant lies on the cusp of Aquarius and Pisces but am not sure how many degrees constitutes it being 'cuspy'. I've tried to research it but i've found nothing. Can you tell me if you think your ascendant is on the cusp and how many degrees it is?

  1. I dont have my Ascendnat on a cusp but based on the charts i have read with this placement, i would say that the critical degree of 29' would probably combine the traits of the next sign together with its own.

Because the Ascendant changes signs every 2 hours or so, it is debatable and difficult to determine whether the traits are one sign or other other when it occurs as a cusp.

But I have seen charts of individuals with a 00 deg Ascendant in a sign and they do act out the characteristic sof that sign rather than the previous ones. So unless your Ascendant falls under 29' degree, this shouldnt trouble you too much. What is more important is to look at the ASPECTS that the Ascendant makes with the rest of the planets in your chart.

  2. Any placement within 2-3 degrees is considered "cuspy".

  3. Mine is just barely in Taurus, about 0.6 degrees.
