its the new thing, like freeview tv only using a satellite in space......freesat

whats it like? any good?

o yeh and im not being rude but if youve never tried it or seen it, PLEASE dont answer. im so fed up of people putting an answer to my question which is totally irrelevant!

Well, I don't have it but please read on.

At the moment Freesat costs around £150+ installation, it provides subscription-free HD content from BBC and ITV which is via a red button service. However, from July (tomorrow) Sky are bringing the price of their HD down to the same price, granted there is a subscription, but with their service you get 15 channels of HD content together with all the standard channels which Sky claim are upscaled.

I know which one I'd go for!
