  1. when you go to hit or "spike" the ball .. then make an approach.. act as if you are opening french doors.. then go left foot, right foot, then jump and swing as hard as you can.

  2. for over hand serving just hit it real hard and make sure its not too high or too low. for passing make sure your platform is nice and firm. hitting... just be on time for the ball. for setting, well it comes to you. and tipping comes along with it. i play volleyball and i was on my school team and i play national champs. the more you play they better you get.

  3. it is all about footwork and how you position you arms and legs!

  4. if you go to scheels you can get this thing called a volleyball pall and it's like a hit-away like in softball and baseball and you strap it to your waist and put the volleyball in the holder and then it has a strap attatched to your wasit and you can practice setting and serving and you'll get better.

  5. It is important to have a flat surface when passing with your arms.  Move to where the ball is served and contact the ball.  Do not swing your arms at contact.  Let the ball bounce from your arms and use your legs to guide to target.
