Does anyone have trouble with their spouse being mean to step-children?

My husband is constantly degrading my son (his step-son) and everything he does. I was just wondering if anyone else has had a problem like this and how to handle it.

This sounds difficult. I would go solo if I was ever a single divorced woman. In your situation, I would do anything and everything to preserve and protect my boy .. even if means to sacrifice my own happiness.

I had this same problem - my son was treated like a red-headed step child while our children together could do no wrong.  It was sick and cruel!  For that reason, among others I divorced my evil spouse.  After serving him with divorce papers he completely cut my son off. He was only 12 at the time and the evil one had raised him since he was 3!! He called him dad!!!!  Crazy!  Get him couseling or get awy from him! How could anyone treat a child like that?

i dont believe in divorce but i would say tal to him and if he doesnt stop being mean to ur son then divorce him! my mom let us take c**p from her bf she didnt say anything.........i cried every night........ur doing the right thing if u talk to him about it =]]]
