  1. I have played it on trial at EB Games for about half an hour and I didn't lose weight. But you would eventually lose weight after playing for a certain number of days (depending on your body type). You need to use it frequently to be able to see weight loss results.

  2. I've had it since the week after it came up. No. It is a waste of money and you burn more calories walking around your house.

  3. well i've only had it for 2 days, but so far everyday it has made me sweat! it may help you lose weight if you put all of your effort into it.

  4. Don't know about losing weight - but it did help me get more toned. I personally didn't have a goal to lose weight because my weight is fine (in fact, my BMI, according to wii fit, is around 20.50). I've been training with wii fit for three weeks, 1,5 hours x 5-6 days a week, and as a result I've lost 4 cm in my waist and 5 cm in hips (which was my core goal).

Of course, playing balance games won't help you lose weight. I spent most of my time doing muscle workouts, yoga and some aerobics (mostly hoop and running). I gotta say, muscle workouts are very, very efficient, especially if you do the maximum number of reps and repeat each set for 2-3 times.

So, I would say - no, wii fit is not a waste of money.

  5. it has helped me lose weight! and its fun lol cool mini games,,,the running in place may not seem that hard but u can unlock it up to 30 mins free run and that really beats you down!
