  1. Some people talk to their plants because it supposedly helps keep them healthy and growing.  I have no idea if it's actually true or not.  


  2. Plants grown for magical use had to be stolen or given by another without the receiver asking.  You couldn't buy them, or ask someone for a cutting.

  3. There is the one about kissing below the mistletoe.

  4. a great one is Mandrake root.  It is said to scream as it is being taken from the ground.   I have included a web page for you.  Great question. I will be following post.  :)

  6. mistle toe...gives luck i think

    garlic repels evil spirits and monsters like vampires

    five-fingers leaf with 8 leaf instead of normal 5 gives luck also
