Does anyone here know the average price for cigarettes in the dominican Republic?

I want to know if anyone here knows the Average price for Cigarettes in the Dominican. Are they cheap?

Small pack of Marlboro cost about US$1.35 -/+

Big Pack of Marlboro cost about US$2.50 -/+

the case with 10 packs of Marlboro about US$20 +/-

Yes they are cheap. Depending on local brands ore imported brands the price is between 2 1/2 us dollar and 3 1/2 dollar.

Sorry not to be more precise I'm not  a smoker anymore. What I surely know they have the best cigars in the world, better than the Cubans.

Local brands can be bought for $12 - $16 (US dollars) per carton. If you want imports like Marlboro, they are much higher $25 - $35 per carton.
