Does anyone here know the band HEATMISER!?!?!?

Someone out there, PLEASE tell me that you know who HEATMISER was. My other answer got deleted because no one answered!

This band was one of a kind i mean ELLIOT SMITH was in it! People educate yourselves and go beyond whats popular and you might find it surprising that really good bands that were not played all that much on the radio were actually the best.

haha I'm a big fan of Jimmy eat World and they referenced heatmiser in one of their songs, I heard that Elliot Smith was a part of it so I checked them out and sure enough theyre pretty sick.

Oh gosh. Heatmiser!!!! I was totally infatuated with that band while I was in high school. Definitely one of the best but also virtually unknown if you're not a music buff. My favorite album of their's would probably have to be "cop and speeder"  with the single "why did i decide to stay" on it. They released 3 full length albums: Dead Air, Cop and Speeder, and Mic City Sons, as well as 2 EP's: The Music of Heatmiser and Yellow No. 5. And I can also recall that the band split around 1996 with Elliot Smith and Neil Gust both launching their independent careers.
