Does anyone here live in Mumbai?

What are the general living costs, in general?

Reason I am asking is that I am planning to move to Mumbai, where I have a property that I had rented out and I have decided to move there, but since I have never actually lived there, I dont know what kinds of general living costs I would face.

Can anyone help out?

If you are going to live in your own place, then living in Mumbai is very easy. The major cost is for accomodation only.

Food items ( fresh fruit and vegetables - bit costly ) are not very costly. Particularly if you do your own cooking - very cost saving.

Electricity charges are generally at par with other cities.

Transport ( if you opt for mass transport like bus / train ) very very cheap.
