My sister lives in a house made of straw bales covered in stucco. It's well insulated, but there's been a cottontail rabbit that hangs around and chews on a corner of her house sometimes. She lives in the mountains in Colorado. She seems to like it all right.

My gradfather built a home out of tons of rebar, 6 inch thick concrete and 5 feet dirt over it with the whole front glass.   It only gets below freezing when its below -30' F outside.   I'm supposed to inherit it and won't be slow in moving in.
