Does anyone here take herbal sleep aids and do they work?

  1. Camomile tea will help you sleep.Also put some lavender scent throughout your pillow and pillowcase.

Hi I used to take a herbal remedy called Passiflora, is brilliant to help get to sleep, I found nytol not to work it acutally kept me awake lol, but passiflora great and doesnt make you feel sleepy or anythng like that it just makes you more relaxed so you can sleep, There are a few others like Valerian but I find passiflora to work better than any of them.

    I used to get it from my local herb shop, im not sure if holland and barret have it too.

  3. i didnt find that they really worked. I bought some lavinder oils tho and you put it on your wrist just before bed. That seems to work.

    If your really struggling go to your doctor though.  

  4. Lavender is a wonderful sleep aid, I agree. You could also try the herb Valerian, in tincture or tea form. Chamomile tea is also nice. So is Sleepy Time tea, and Sleepy Time Extra by Celestial Seasonings.

  5. I have used several. HEre are a list:

    1. There is a brand called Boron that makes the product Quietude. I really like this.

    2. Passiflora works well

    3. ANother remedy is called Melatonin but ask your doctor before taking this

    4. My absolute favorite is MyoCalm P.M. It works great!! The website is www.metagenics.com , It also has calcium and magnesium which can also help you relax. I really love this stuff.  

  6. i dont, but my friend recommended them to me. The kind he takes are in pill form. He says they work. other than that, make sure ou're comfortable in your room. reading always helps me sleep, or take a warm bath before turning in.
