If so, can you tell me if it's a fun job or not. I'm thinking of working there but I want the heads up.

  1. I worked at mcdonalds for over a year as a teenager.  It was a great job and a fun environment.

  2. Nope....  Never have.  Sorry.

  3. Not very fun, but you get free food!=)

  4. Worst job EVER!  I really hated it...

but it could have been the people I worked with, the smell of grease and food ya cant get rid of, or the rude annoying customers.

Maybe you will have better luck though...

  5. I worked at McDonald's for over a year, and personally I hated it.  It was greasy, hot, and people are really rude.  If you cant handle people very well then it is probably not a good choice.  Your uniform will get that permanent smell and then eventually, the smell is in your car, on other clothes, and in your house.  It's gross!  You will certainly learn a lot about people and how awful humans can treat other humans.  Some of the people I served, with care, were so unappreciative.  I just don't like it when I treat someone with respect and they are so rude to me.  Anyway, the job is pretty easy.  Easy to remember the menu and stuff.  I just don't like rude people, I guess or the greasy-ness of the job.  But if none of that stuff bothers you, then you should be fine!!!!  Hope I helped!

    P.S.

The grease WILL mess with your skin...so beware!!!!

  6. i dont work there but i have heard that it is wack and plus when u start they only pay u like $2-$5.50 an hour so maybe get another option and try out something else u like but take it from me dont choose mickey d'z just yet vary your options

  7. lots of fun and free food

  8. Sure do

I can honestly say that at first its pretty hard to remember where everything is, as theres so many different foods on the menu. If your trained on front counter [serving people] this is apparently harder then BACK AREA [Where you make the burgers]

In general I think that its a really great place to work at as there is so many different people who work there. You pick up better communication skills such as listening and even how you talk to difficult customers. Its also a very friendly environment I think and Mcdonalds LOOKS GREAT on a resume because of the great amounts of pressure you're expected of when it gets busy, because its all about "GO GO GO"

  9. i used to, and it was fun at first, but then the novelty wore off..

  10. First of all it all depends on the people you work with - the funner the people the funner the job. (Funner is NOT  word )

If you are prone to acne, don't because the grease will be a problem for you.

I worked at McDonalds during my teenage years and it was kind of a drag because people are pretty much d*cks to you. And they look down on you. When I left I threw a hamburger at my manager because I hated her. It was awesome.

So, you should work at Sonic if you have one there, because everyone is happy and nice to you when you work at Sonic.

If not, you should get a job at a resturant.

You will make better friends there - you could start out as a busser (Depending on your age) and work your way up to server. You will make better money and better friends, because people work longer at resturant jobs (not like mcdonalds where people are constantly quitting and the managers are *****!)

So work at a resturant if you want the food business.

If not, find a job in retail.

  11. well i haven't but my friend has and it has a lot to do with the people whom you work with. just don't eat the food(lulz)

  12. nar, but i just ate a mac ds :) mmmmmm yummmmm

  13. Why don't you ask your dad?OH THAT BECAUSE HE ANIT GOT NO JOB AND YOU'RE POOR HAHAHAHAHA!

  14. u get pimples coz of the grease

    lol

its ok but its not the most fun job ever

    try clothing stores
