The 427 SOHC is a very rare engine and will command a lot of money.  Good luck in finding one!

PS:  The factory 427 SOHC did not produce 600hp from the factory, but....  with a few mods it was very capable of more than 600hp.

Sure, they're a dime a dozen. Check any junkyard, they have them on the shelf right next to the 428 SCJs and the HiPo 289s.

Seriously - the chances of finding a real one (unless its in a car at Barrett Jackson that has a 250,000 price tag) are pretty slim. Good luck

That's a very rare engine. You'd be better off looking for a 427 Side Oiler with the big intake valves, intake ports and exaust ports. The ad on the 427 cammer expired 95 days ago.

You will find a car with one in it for close to same price before you find one. My friend has a 1964 Shlby GT he took ten years to restore and has been on ESPN and won numerous 1st place trophies.  Has been offered over 1,000,000 for car and will not sell.  It will go if he decides on new project for close to 2.  This wwill tell ypou how rare engine is for sale as they also made same car with 289 and sells for about 3-400,000 restored.
