Does anyone know Al Gore's Opinion of Pickens energy plan?

I just saw Mr Picken's plan on the TV on Larry King tonight. I just wondered what enviromentalist think of it.

Just to put it very simply!

If it is good for the environment, NO!

If he can make money off of it, YES!

Does it use oil or coal from companies he has stocks in, YES, if not, NO!

Is Al Gore making any money off it? That is the question to ask yourself.

If the answer is no, then you can bet Al Gore is against it.

Just remember this Ole Pickens is an oil man he knows how much oil we have in the ground and he knows there is not really a shortage if only the enviromental terrorist in Congress would let us drill and build some more refinieries.

Environmentalists dislike the plan because it won't d**n well work.

Basically when you build wind turbines you build something that is unreliable and has to be backed up by a more reliable power source which usually means natural gas (since coal fired power plants are slow to respond) thereby increasing demand for natural gas.

Natural gas is also the last of the fossil fuels to replace, coal is what needs to go, not methane.
