Does anyone know a REAL Mexican restaurant in London? NO TEX MEX!!!?

I'm from Chicago, so have pretty high standards when it comes to what is authentic Mexican food.

Cafe Pacifico + La Perla are sister restaurants - both are excellent. Great tequila, great food. Always busy & lively with great atmosphere.

El Tequila in P circus is pretty good.

The best by miles that 've found is Mestizo, in Hampstead Road NW1. Nearest tube is Warren St. It's totally Mexican and their flautas are to die for. The only thing is the service can be a bit slow, like Mexico! But friendly, and loads of different tequillas, if that's your thing. I haven't been for a while, so better phone and check they are still there.

I am from Mexico and I live in London since 2 years ago, the best authentic mexican food that I ever been is call

La taqueria is a typican taqueria mexicana, is in notting hill, 139-143 Westbourne Grove, w11, they even do their tortillas, they have their tortilla machine just like in mexico, and they also have a place in the borough market where they sell all of their products, is very nice, is not mexico and it nerver be, but is very close.

Another good place is Meztizo restaurant, but you alredy reed aboutit, all of the others that people have anwer are very bad and very tex mex
