Does anyone know a cheap fun place to stay in Cancun?

I want to go to Cancun this week, for one week, as cheap as possible.Just one week to walk on the beach, does any one have any ideas?

We just booked on Orbitz.  They are having some great deals.  A stay at the Westin, for 7 days was $788 including airfare.  Don't know where you are flying from but we hopped on it.

Puerto Morelos is cheap and right outside of Cancun.  They have some 3-4 hotels that are decent. They are small, quaint and sit on the beach. Some of them throw in free breakfast.

You might want to check this out.  Cancun resort is giving a free 3-4 day stay if you simply listen to their presentation.  This won't cover your week but will save you some money while you are down there.  The ad runs in Backpage.com and I'm putting link below.
