Question:

Does anyone know a chess program for a PC where I can record moves a friend and I make in our postal game?

I don't want a program that lays the game for me, or even plays a computer. I just want to keep track of the game on my computer, as opposed to taking up half my kitchen table with my board!

Cheers,

S

  1. Chessmaster and then save the game and then update it as you play.  Of course then you might want to cheat and use Chessmaster to help you out.

  2. Any program will do that.  Here is some free ones:

Winboard comes with gnuchess.  It is free and will do that.

  3. Another easy solution might be to buy one of those small magnetic travel chess sets.  They don't take up much space and will let you have the convenience of a real board.
