  1. Well, There is a pizza place called "Piazza Tomasso". It is great, lok it up.

  2. www.ultrasupperclub.ca

Awesome spot.  See and be seen.  Lots of celebs.  Dinner turns into dancing after 11 when the place turns intoa great night club.  Fab patio, lots of fun!  I also like Flow, in Yorkville... DJ and dancing there as well... also a a cool, hip crowd.  Both placces offer amzing food.  Easy and the FIfth is another awesome club.....  first rate dining on the 5th floor, and wicked club on the main level.  All three of these places are upscale, so no scuzzy guys or gals hanging around. Dress to impress!

For something different, try the Sultan's tent on Front Street.  Gretzky's is cheap, yet interesting, if you're at all into hockey and "The Great One".

Jack Astors is also fun, loud, and has pretty good food for cheap.  they are all over the place.

  3. You should try Memories of Japan on Don Mills Road - tons of fun if you sit at the Tepanyaki tables and the food is great!

  4. Sneaky Dees. It's on the SE corner of College and Bathurst

Get their nacho platter, it's like a meal. They have decent priced drinks too.

  5. Try this:

    Mistura

    265 Davenport Rd, Toronto, ON M5R 1J9 · 416-515-0009

    Avg. Entrée:  $$$16 - $30

    Reservations:  Recommended

    Outdoor Dining:  None

One of the hottest Italian restaurants in Toronto, Mistura is the brainchild of respected restaurateurs Massimo Capra and Paolo Paolini. Their innovative seasonal menu, coupled with the casual but incredibly stylish décor, ensures a fantastic dining experience. Tuna carpaccio, fresh calamari, or warm asparagus with a sunny-side up egg and black truffle vinaigrette each make an equally impressive start; good impressions are reinforced with entrees of braised rabbit, balsamic-glazed lamb ribs, and Tuscan-style seafood stew.

  6. Ya, Marche is cool and the food is good.

  7. Mt. Vesuvio's Ristorante

    [edit this]

Near City Hall in Downtown Brampton.

    type:Italian

marche is a nice place too.

  8. There are so many, it's difficult to even begin to answer the question - what are you up for?  Gourmet?  Cheap and Cheeful?  Loud and Fun?  Swanky?  Indie?

If you want to have a meal you'll remember forever, go to 'Lee' and get their tasting menu.  It will blow you away with its fabulosity (Asian fusion) but also its price - expect to spend between $300-500 a head.

One of my favourite places (still pricey, but not as pricey) to see the city and enjoy great food (Canadian cuisine, lots of game dishes) is Canoe.  It's on the 54th floor of the TD bank tower, and the view is absolutely stunning (it looks out west and south, giving you a great view of the trendy parts of the city, the new architecture, and the Islands).  The food is delicious too.

Another great view of the city (better for drinks than dinner) is the Hyatt rooftop bar.  It's on the 18th floor at the corner of Bloor and Avenue/University.  Drinks are pricey, but there's value to be had if you look for it (they also serve a fantastic vodka sampler, be sure to try both the Smirnoff Penka and Stoli Elit).  Get there slightly before sunset if you want to get a table on the terrace, and watch the sun go down over the city.

If you want something a bit more fun and vibrant (or if you want a meal after the Hyatt) head to Kensington Market.  They've got a whack of restaurants ranging from authentic taco bars to expensive French cuisine.  Personally though, my two favourite haunts there are the Rice Bar (run by the chef from Azul) which is cheap ($25 per person, tops), cheerful and really delicious (you choose your rice, your protein, your sauce, and your veg and they prepare it for you).  Also great fresh made juices; and Torito, which is probably the best Tapas bar in the city (and not too pricey, $75 a head for dinner with drinks) and has a stunning selection of both dry and sweet Sherries. They're both across the street from each other on the north end of Augusta.

Finally, if you're just looking for a great little cocktail bar, a little removed from the action but still really hip, the Crooked Star (at Dundas and Ossington) makes the best Tom Collins in the city.

    Man, I miss Toronto.

  9. marche! it's a marketplace reataurant. i always have fun eating there.

it's located right above the union station, inside the BCE building. they have amazing crepes and ice cream.

or you can try the medieval times restaurant. you can eat and watch a show at the same time.

  10. Lonestar's.  There is one down by the ACC and one out by the Airport.  I'm not sure of their exact addresses though.  The food is really good though.
