for salwater fishing anywhere along galveston area from the jetties down to freeport. and for freshwater fishing you got lake conroe, lake livingston, lake sommerville

if you are interested in bass fishing i recommend lake amistad. cast towards the stumps. and it might be a drive but good luck

Depends on what fish you are targeting. I prefer saltwater fishing and would recommend you going down to Galveston and try one of the few fishing piers like at Seawolf Park, 61st street pier, or the pier at San Luis Pass. Use dead shrimp, and fish the bottom using weights. You can catch a variety of species that way. During this time of year, these places are open 24 hrs a day.
