Does anyone know a good program for making movies and also a good program for making animations.

Question

Other than Windows movie maker, Pivot, Pinnacle and Monkey Jam. When I mean animation I mean programs that make animations as in Wallace and Grommit and Chicken Run, when I mean movies you know what I mean.

hmm making movies program, its a bit funny. I mean making movie is shotting editing, casting ect. But  if you want to EDIT your video that you already shot, than there are 2 options.

1, final cut pro which is bit difficult to use, but most of the pro guys using it and it available for mac users only

2, adobe premiere pro cs 3 which is easy to use ( of course u need to learn how to) but its available for  mac and for windows users( none of them are cheap btw)

im not composer/animator so  i have no idea what they are using, but i did a little research for u and the pixar (  prod company of finding nemo, bug`s life toy story  ) is using Marionette which is their own animation program.
