Does anyone know a good romantic restaurant in Sydney?

Its my anniversary next week and i would like to go somewhere romantic for dinner. Any suggestions?

  1. Somewhere with a view is always good. Look at www.eatability.com.au for some ideas.

    It may be a bit far for the night, but I went to The Rooster near Katoomba in the Blue Mountains for dinner once and it was possibly the most romantic time I had ever had. It is in an old romantic looking house and the tables are far enough apart that you feel like you are alone. The waiters were very discreet as well and the lighting was low. Toward the end of the evening they turned the lights down even lower and I could just see some couples getting very close indeed (sorry didn't want to be tacky, but everyone was getting taken away with the atmosphere).

  2. Malaya on King Street Wharf. It's a little pricey but it's pretty swank and the food is amazing. Book ahead coz it gets rather busy. It can get a little loud as well. But you call always go for a saunter along the harbour afterwards.

    They do really good cocktails as well!

  4. I would suggest a captain cooks' dinner cruise fab food wonderful views and can be private if you speak to staff
