for a beginner golfer Amy Fox at Tierra Verde is good and so is Ben Lord at Walnut Creek in Mansfield.  For someone trying to play around par I would recommend Randy Smith at Royal Oaks, Dana Ballinger but I dont know where he is, or Tim Cusick at the TPC in Las Colinas.  I went to Tim for about a year while I was trying to play college golf.  He dropped my rounds by about 3 to 4 strokes and I was a +1 handicap by the time I finished/
