Does anyone know a good volunteer travel agency? If so what is their website?

I would like to do a mixture of teaching and building work. The only ones I can find on google are Mad adventure, and Travellers.

My daughter looked into this recently as she is now in Ghana doing volunteer teaching.

She found that it was far more economical to book her own flights. She paid £350 for a return ticket. Sites, like the ones you mention, wanted to chrage her over £1,000 with some going up to £3,000

She eventually found the cheapest ticket on Kayak

most towns have local volenteer beuros (little places where you can fill informs etc) mine does and they offer loads of work .



also you can volunteer at local charity shops !
