Does anyone know a good way to record something off of a telivision in high qualioty without using a camcorder

A) record onto tape with your vcr

B) tivo it

C) get a tv tuner for your computer (it allows you to record tv with your computer)

I have a DVD recorder, it was about 90.00 and works like my vcr except it burns to a dvd.
