Natal, Jericoacoara, Recife, Fernando de Noronha, Fortaleza are the best beaches in the North

The best beaches are in Fernando de Noronha but nightlife there is very slim to none. Rio has fun beaches and incredible nightlife but it's in a major city. I'd try Salvador. Good nightlife and while the beaches are c**p near the city a short drive in either direction on the coast will take you to some incredible places.
