Im really in need of a change, a different place where I can start over completely, I would love something out of state or out of the country, it really doesnt matter just anywhere but texas...I have financial problems thats why i would like something that pays for everything. I would like to see more of what is out there, I would especially love something in New York :)

  1. You could try a custom cutter team. They're forming up now. They harvest crops all over the country and it's pretty good money. You could also try something like a cruise ship or you could even work as a carny. You just work the carnival rides at state and county fairs. All of those jobs pay for your room and board.

  2. Peace Corps or JET will get you overseas and cover everything.

While Peace Corps is technically "volunteer", they cover your flight, food, housing, expenses, and give you a living allowance that puts you at a comfortable level comparative to the community you live in and about six grand when you're done. I did it a couple years ago and it definitely allowed me to do some awesome things I would have never been able to afford to do on my own.

JET is something I've looked into but never done, but it pays for you to teach in Japan. Again, flight and housing paid as well as a healthy salary. You don't need to have a teaching background either and can do it from 1 to 5 years. It's a reputable program, but they only accept applications once a year (I think around December).

There are many English teaching positions available (check idealist.org), but be careful since some of them aren't as good as they claim to be. Always do some investegative work. A good resource is Dave's ESL cafe website.

  3. Sounds like what you are looking for is a job on a cruise ship.  The pay sucks, but as you said, it is free room, board and travel : )  Think of all the places you'll see!  Good luck!

  4. The military.
