does anyone know how much gas prices will go up to its 5 bucks a gallon already is it going to increase. and what made the U.S gas prices soar. did gas prices soar because of the war in iraq?????

Well in michigan gas is almost 4$ and its still going up

The term is "Gouging"

Oil companies make up stories to drive up the cost of gas for no reason.   They are greedy and manipulative and have their hands in all the most powerful american pockets.  The easiest way to lower gas prices is to murder the entire corporate oil industry.  Or buy an electric car and push for more nuclear power plants to power them.
