  1. Vikings raided around the middle east maybe some of their descendants

  2. wrong way round .. Germanic people are descendant from various middle Eastern peoples and their language is derived from Sanskrit (an ancient Indian language)

  3. You might be referring to the Aryan Tribe that came from the Caucus region. If you are, then all middle eastern ethnic groups are decended from them. They settled in Europe, the Middle East and India. Of course in Europe the Aryans pretty much had the place to themselves. In India and the Middle East their descendants mixed with the people already there that is why they don't look like the rest of the people in Europe.

  4. Not really, but...

There is a small town in Jordan called Madaba.  During the Roman Empire, one of the emperors stationed a legion of germanic troops in the town.

To this day, a small percentage of the people there have blonde hair and blue eyes. They are Muslim and they are ethnically Arabic.  It's quite bizarre.

  5. Previous posters have been looking too far into the past. Large numbers of Germans migrated to "the Stans" during the 20th century. I believe it is Kyrgyzstan in particular that has large, isolated pockets of German people. A look at the census pages for Kyrgyzstan, Kazakstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan would give you a good idea of the Germanic populations living there.
