  1. Puggles are a cross between a Pug and a beagle.  The reason why you are having issues finding a "qualified breeder" is because no respectable breeder would breed 2 different breeds to make a mutt.  If you buy a Puggle from anyone selling one, your supporting either a back yard breeder (people who either just want "one litter" and aren't doing any health testing to make sure that every dog produced will be healthy, or someone who breeds their dogs just for cash and doesn't really care about the dogs or who gets the puppies.) or a Puppy mill (google puppy mills)  If you buy from a store, you are supporting Puppy mills, no matter what the sales person says.

Check out your local shelters and/or www.petfinder.com  If you go to your shelter, keep an open mind about what breed you want.  You might be shocked when you fall in love with some random mutt.

    Good luck on your search.

  2. No good breeder breeds mutts!!  If you want a "puggle" you'll have to check your local puppy mill and see if they have any that are actually alive.

  3. Do not buy from a breeder!!!! You don't HAVE to have a specific breed!! There are so many dogs out there that do not have homes--just look at petfinder.com to name one of many. You may even be able to find a puggle there. Why encourage more breeding when there are so many that need homes?

  4. there is no such thing as a qualified breeder for a puggle.  they are mutts, contact any back yard breeder.

  5. Hmm, maybe because its a MUTT not a breed.

  6. There is no such thing as a QUALIFIED breeder of puggles as they are just mutts a mix of pug and beagle.

Look at www.petfinder.com im sure you could find tons of them homeless and on the verge of being put to sleep due to over crowding of shelters because of back yard breeders.

  7. No decent breeder would breed mutts in the first place. Buying one will only contribute to the problem...

  8. No truely qualified/reliable/reputable breeder would breed Mutts.

    Mk?

  9. They don't exist.  Anyone that takes two different breeds and sticks them together to make mutts, does not qualify them as a breeder.  It qualifies them to put a stupid sign on their back side.

  10. No "qualified" breeder will breed mixed breed dogs.

Only irresponsible back yard breeders and puppy millers breed puggles.

If you want a mutt, try your local shelter or rescue.. there are plenty of pug/beagle mixes in need of homes.  I've seen many of them go thru my local shelter!

  11. With all due respect to your desire for a "designer breed," there are few reputable breeders of such dogs because good breeders don't like mixing the breeds. This results in hybrid animals that are difficult to control, difficult to predict, and animals that often have health problems since they inherit the weaker genes from each parent. "Puggle" may be fun to say, but much more difficult to raise! Good luck..

  12. no such thing as a qualified, respected, ethical or COE breeder of mutts.

real breeders breed to better a breed you can't better a breed that doesn't exist.

  13.    They are mixed breeds so no reputable breeder breeds mutts but they are often in shelters, we have had 4 in our local shelters in the last 3 mos. Some Pug rescues might have mixed breeds as well.

  14. check the humane society, or petfinder. dont support BYBs!

  15. Sure, but they won't be qualified to breed Puggles. Puggles are cross bred dogs, and responsible, reputable breeders would never breed them. If you really want one, try a shelter or pound, as many people before me have suggested.
