I would recommend a park, then you two can talk/ boat/ skate/ ride bikes...then I would say go to lunch and then a movie maybe...movies are old fashion for a first date...try the park first and dinner. If things go well, next time go to an amusment park or a festival...see what their interest's are and if they fit with yours. Also, this will tell you if they are jerk in public or not.

Going to see a movie is always a good and safe bet. Its dark and u r watching a movie so u dont really have to search for things to talk about. Then if u grab something to eat afterwards u will atleast have the movie to talk about if u run out of other things. Make it a spooky movie so u can " AHHHHHHHHHH-" and then grap his big strong arms for protection!!!!!
