Either people make too much or just above the limit to qualify for individual health insurance for low income families, its just so unfair that we work our whole lives and cannot afford to get health insurance and people who come illegally and or legal immigrates into this country go straight to the welfare office and qualify for medicaid!!!! And WE are the ones paying for it thru our taxes!!! This government really sucks when it comes down to taking care of their own people who have been in this country working their tails off all their lives and we always end up with the short end of the stick! So now I really need health insurance for my husband that we can afford, anyone???

  1. Try this one - http://healthplans.bebto.com - I personally have their health insurance. As I know it is the cheapest one for my family in our area.

  2. Actually coverage doesn't necessarily cost the same company to company.  And, it certainly doesn't cost the same state to state either.  New Jersey tops the list for ridculous insurance costs.  I'm not kidding when I say that it's probably cheaper to move to PA or DE and get insurance than it is to stay in NJ.

You can't pump your own gas, buy sparklers on the 4th of July and you certainly can't get affordable health insurance in NJ.

  4. Coverage costs about the same, from company to company, for the same coverage.

If your husband is healthy and 30, it's going to cost about $300 a month.  That's what it costs.  If you want to cut it in half, take a $5,000 deductible.

The cheapest way to get health insurance, is through an employer's group plan.

There isn't any shortcut.  All those websites that sell you stuff, cheaper than a real insurance company, are either selling you a list, or scamming you.

Go talk to a local agent, about your health insurance options.

  5. If you can get group health insurance coverage and have your employer pay all or most of the premiums then that will probably be the cheapest way to go.

However, the truly cheapest form of New Jersey health insurance coverage is an individual plan.

Especially if you choose a plan with a high deductible then you can find a pretty cheap individual health insurance plan in NJ.
