  1. Try talking with your doctor.  Your nails often reflect some type of deficiency in your diet.

  2. I Had The Same Problem Awhile Ago And I Use Clear Nail Varnish It Just Makes Your Nails Shine And It Makes Them Stronger.

    Hope This Helped

  3. If you go to your local pharmacy, you can buy a clear nail strengthening varnish, always works for me hope it works for you. Also try drinking more milk because it contains calcium which is good for your nails and bones.

  4. Nails can indeed reflect nutrient deficiencies in the body.  Nails are made of protein; soft, fragile or brittle nails can be the result of protein deficiencies.  Biotin has shown some promise in clinical trails for strengthening nails (and hair).  Among the many roles biotin plays in the body, one is that it assists in the production of amino acids.  Protein is made of amino acids....

There are many topically applied products on the market.  Most are a top coat that provides immediate strength but doesn't correct the underlying deficiency nor does it actually strengthen the nail, for as soon as the top coat is removed, you are left with the same fragile nail.  However, you can use a top coat to protect and strengthen the nails while you make adjustments in your diet and/or add supplements to correct any deficiencies.

  5. You need more calcium in your diet.  Nails are strengthened by eating gelatin, so get some Jello into your diet!  That, and take a calcium supplement.  You'll know when your calcium is at its proper level when your nails become about like the plastic on a model car.
