Does anyone know a terrific on line school for my son? He needs his high school diploma.?

He has to go to a alternative school, even if it means homeschooling. Anyone have any ideas? I will be more than grateful for any of your answers thank you for your time.

I use K12 online also. It is the best online home schooling course I have found and I did a lot of research before I made the decision to home school my son. It comes with everything, the books for the student and teacher guides, lesson plans, attendance reports, how long each lesson took, online interactive lessons, etc. Plus it is a mastery system, which means the student must pass with an 80% or more on the assessment at the end of the unit before they can move on. It's not like in regular school where they could get a D and move on. You have to really grasp the work to move on. It is very structured, plus you can always ask for suggestions and help from other parents who have used the system. They have parents called K12 stars that have done it for 7 years or more. They have online enrichment lessons for the kids and parents. I also signed up for cosmeo.com for some extra help. It has games and extras, like the encyclopedia. Take a look at both sites and see what you think. I am so glad of the choice I made and so is my 9 yr-old son. Good luck in whatever you choose.
