In addition to Salvation Army, there are also Fripe-Prix Renaissance Stores which are the Goodwill stores and Village des valeurs (Value Village).     There is a Villlage des valeurs on Jean Talon West near Decarie (Namur Metro Stn).   I think it's at or close to Victoria.

I've noticed that second hand stores come and go a lot these days and they seem to be everywhere.   Look for ads or signs for "Frip(p)erie."    Some of them have some really neat stuff in them.    There are two in Verdun on Wellington - both on the same block!
