Does anyone know a way to get either from NY to CT or NJ to CT by public transportation.?

i need to find a way to either get from NJ or NY to CT.

i need to see my bf and he lives in CT

and i dont drive

please help me.

  1. Much of CT can be reached by rail out of Grand Central Terminal.  Perhaps if you gave the town I could be more specific.
