Does anyone know a website that I can learn American Sign Language?

I'm looking forward to learn American Sign Language so does anybody know a website that can help me learn American Sign Language starting from the basics and easy to comprehend?

I would say go to the library and get a book. They take it from the beginning, and it's as if you were having a teacher take you from the start. Websites just have a showing of different words. But they are useful if you don't understand how the sign goes, because most websites have video. Try this website, I found it very useful along with books.

Check out a book at a local library. Thats what I did and it was very useful, easy and informative.  

You could also google it or just buy a book of your own.
